JNTUA College of Engineering, Pulivendula
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTU) College of Engineering (CEP) autonomusPulivendula , was established in 2006, as the fourth constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. It is a part of JNTU-Anantapur till 2013. From the academic year 2013-14 the college is autonomous.
==Overview==
The campus spreads over about of land and is located in a serene and pollution-free environment, Pulivendula, Kadapa Dt, Andhra Pradesh, India. The campus has six academic blocks, one administrative building, a central library, four hostel blocks, two messes, staff quarters and a guest house.
JNTUA College of Engineering Pulivendula was established in 2006. The college foundation was laid on 25 December 2005 by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr.Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy Garu.
The college started its first academic year with five branches of CSE, ECE, MEC, EEE and BioTech with an intake of about 300 students in the first batch. The second batch was of about 300 for the academic year 2007-2008. The third batch was of 300 intake with 6 per branch in the free seat category.
